Your plane lands in the Philippines, and you’re hoping to meet a beautiful Filipina love. Dreams of dating an Asian girl have been building in your mind since 9th grade math class. Ok, maybe not. Maybe when you we’re 35 it hit you out of the blue. Maybe your first taste of an Asian girl got the best of you and you caught yellow fever forever. Whatever the case, here you are. The promised land. No more hoping to find an Asian girl walking around your local supermarket. You’re finally here and you couldn’t avoid them if you tried.

So perhaps you’re trying to find that beautiful Filipina love online, and you’ve been chatting with a few Philipino cuties here and there. You’ve learned the way they chat, the little acronyms they use (“bb” for “baby,” “oi” for basically getting your attention), started to text message with them, and you’ve finally set up a date. You’re on your way in the tricycle now. Or was it a jeepney? Perhaps you rented a motorbike?

She asks you to meet her at Jollibee because it’s a familiar location and easy for her to find. Ha. Ha. Ha. Easy for her to find? Really? She lives here. Jesus. But you don’t know her plans; you don’t know the subtle way she’s playing you. You think, “Ah, good idea, maybe she will be my Filipina love.”

A False Sense of Chemistry Between a Foreigner & Filipino

For the foreigners that marry these women, do they feel false chemistry which is why they end up getting separated shortly after?

I was asked this question by one of the members, so I thought I’d touch on it.

I feel there’s a number of reasons why, after the marriage, that there seems to be many separations between a foreigner and filipino lady. A lot of things come into play here as well. First off, did the foreigner even think he had chemistry when marrying her? I’ve got to say, meeting a Filipina girl online, chatting for a few months, and then going to meet her is great. But, marrying after 1 or even 2 trips?

This shitload of trouble I’m speaking of is clear and day for me to see here in America. I see tons of young Filipino women married to men 20 or 30 years their elder. The girls did it. They made it. They got what they wanted. A better life. Money for their family back home in the Philippines. No more struggling 12 hours a day, 7 days a week in that 100 peso a day sales job. Congratulations girl, you did it, you won. But what now? You’re 25 and the guy is 55. Where will you be in 20 years? A young, still great looking Filipino women at 45, and a possible widow. And what do you have until those years pass? Well, from what I’ve seen, lots of cheating, and the girl finally going for what her heart desires – true love. She chose her husband for the money and support, but now she wants what comes 2nd on her list – and that is a real connection. She doesn’t find it with her husband, so then she starts getting in trouble, seeking it out in other places. This is a common situation that I see time and again here in America, and I’m sure is no different in other countries.

But alas, her goal was not true love from the start. Her goal was a better life for her, her children, her family, etc. And she accomplished that. So if you want a beautiful, young, sexy, Filipino woman, by all means, it’s not too hard to find in the vast islands of the Philippines. But if you want all that, PLUS true love…well, that my friend, is harder than hitting a 100mph fast ball.

Ok, so little miss cute Filipina had her heart broken by her last Filipino boyfriend. But so did every other girl in the world. They are just using these answers to hide the real reason, which is too embarrassing for them to admit. Remember, in the Filipino culture, “saving face” is of the utmost importance. Let me break it down into simple terms for you.

“A better life.”

Coming from extreme poverty is no easy task, and I don’t come from there. I see it every day in the Phiippines and I can only imagine how difficult it must be. People in any country and any place will do just about anything to better themselves, especially if they are on the low end of the totem pole.

So these beautiful Pinay girls – they don’t actually like foreigners more for who they are as a person. No, it’s not that. It’s the fact that dating a foreigner gives them more hope for their future. A hope that with a foreigner husband, their family won’t have to worry about food. A hope that with a foreigner husband, they can finally move out of the slums and into a nice home.

The Danger of a Filipina Woman That Only Dates Foreigners (Part 1)

You’ve met them before, but you might not know that you have. Maybe you’ve heard them say it before. She tells you something along the lines of since her last Filipino boyfriend, she will never date another Filipino.

When you’re looking for a Filipino girl to keep, you might want to keep this in mind. I’ve gotten into the minds of at least a few hundred girls from the Philippines since 2007. I’ve probed, asked questions, and tried to learn what they want. I’ve also done this in America. I’ve got a strong grasp on relationships and people’s emotions. Lying, jealousy, love, being genuine – these are things I can detect rather easily.

If the goal is to find a Filipina wife and settle down, read on. But, this only applies to you if you want REAL love, and not just a wife that you hardly know and basically import into your country. Some guys want just that. They meet a girl, can hardly pronounce her last name, and then marry her. And that’s fine by me and many others, because that’s just what some people want, and everyone is different. Some guys just want a cute and loving Filipina to take care of them.

Why are Filipina Women Super Jealous?

This has been an issue and question of mine for the longest time. Why are these Filipina girls so damn jealous? I just don’t get it, and I don’t think I ever will. I’ve tried to reason and make sense out of it, but I just can’t. At first I thought it was because this particular Philippine girl I’m talking to had a bad past. You know, a boyfriend that cheated on her and kept lying.

But then I ran into girls that never even had a boyfriend before. Never even had a date. And they were still doing the same exact immature, jealous type things. Coming from America, this was truly a culture shock. And that’s really the only answer I have. It’s just…part of their culture. At first I became infuriated, agitated, pissed off, annoyed. But once I realized it’s almost like a chain reaction for them to say certain things, it got easier to deal with. I just picture myself getting in my car and putting on my seatbelt, and I tell myself that doing this action is just like a Filipino girl‘s response to something I say.

How I Got Scammed? Poverty and the Philippines – What’s Your Story?

Share yours to help our fellow SYKos prepare for their first journey to the Philippines. The Philippines is a wonderful place, but it is very poor. And where there is poverty, people will do just about anything to get a little money.

I live in America. Never once in my life (maybe this is rare) have I been asked for money to borrow. In 2009 I went off to Tarlac, Philippines. I met a girl from Angeles City and we dated on and off for about a month. About a week into the dating, she was with me in the hotel and telling me that her baby was really sick in the hospital with dengue fever and she couldn’t pay the medical bill. She was asking for 3,000 pesos.
